When can I request the first payout on FTMO Growth ($50K futures)?
After you pass the evaluation, the funded account needs 4 qualifying trading days, each with at least $150 of profit, before you can request a payout, and the same count applies to every later cycle. It is a count of trading days that meet the threshold, not a number of calendar days: we have not verified any separate calendar wait for this account. Once the days are in, the request itself must meet FTMO's minimum and limits.

Qualifying days are not calendar days
A qualifying day is a trading day that ends with at least $150 of closed profit. Days that end lower, or at a loss, do not count, and trading continues until 4 days qualify. So the earliest first request comes after 4 trading days, if every one of them qualifies, and it can take many more calendar days than that.
The days below are invented for illustration, starting from the first day on the funded account:
| Day | Day's result | Qualifies? | Count |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monday | +$400 | Yes | 1 |
| Tuesday | −$200 | No | 1 |
| Wednesday | +$150 | Yes | 2 |
| Thursday | +$90 | No | 2 |
| Friday | +$600 | Yes | 3 |
| Next Monday | +$180 | Yes | 4 |
The fourth qualifying day comes on the sixth trading day and the eighth calendar day. The two days under $150 simply do not count; the count does not restart.
What the request itself must meet
When the days are in, the amount you ask for has its own limits: Gross request ≥$20; up to 50% of profit, payout cap $2,500. ≥50% must be new profit. Then 90% share.
In the table above the four qualifying days made $1,330 and the other two days netted −$110, so the account shows $1,220 of profit. Half of that is $610, below the $2,500 cap, so the most you could request is $610, and your 90% share of it is $549.
After you request
Two things are only partly known for this account:
- Timing: FTMO does not publish a maximum time for approval. The invoice follows approval, and the time for payment to arrive is separate. (partly unknown)
- Cost: Fees for the payout methods are not established. We do not assume there are none. (partly unknown)
What is not established
- any calendar wait before the first request, or a fixed cycle length;
- how long approval and payment take, and what each payout method costs.
Which event starts the first-payout clock explains why trading-day and calendar-day rules can lead to very different first-payout dates.
The evidence
| Rule | What the terms say | Checked |
|---|---|---|
| First and later payouts | A payout can be requested once 4 trading days in the payout cycle have each ended with at least $150 of closed profit. A day below $150 does not count; trading continues until 4 days qualify. The same applies to every payout cycle. | 3 October 2026 |
| Initial profit share | 90% 90% of the approved request, after the request limits, such as payout cap, are applied. | 19 September – 2 October 2026 |
| Payout minimums and caps | Gross request ≥$20; up to 50% of profit, payout cap $2,500. ≥50% must be new profit. Then 90% share. | 2 October 2026 |
| Published processing time | FTMO does not publish a maximum time for approval. The invoice follows approval, and the time for payment to arrive is separate. Partly unknown | 2 October 2026 |
| Payout processing fees | Fees for the payout methods are not established. We do not assume there are none. Partly unknown | 2 October 2026 |
