ProprPerpetualsOther rule
Propr bars three more practices and caps evaluation accounts at $200,000
Propr's rulebook now prohibits three more practices: switching trading approach after passing an evaluation; sharing account access or trading several accounts from the same household, device or IP address; and strategies that are difficult to replicate in live markets or carry outsized risk when replicated, such as trades that would trigger auto-deleveraging. Hedging across your own accounts now covers correlated assets too (long ETH on one account, short SOL on another). And a trader's evaluation accounts may now hold up to $200,000 in total, beside the $300,000 limit on funded accounts that the rulebook already had.

What this means
Until 20 October the rulebook capped only funded accounts and allowed "additional evaluation accounts" beside them; now two $100,000 evaluations at once is the most it gives as an example. The new practices can each end an account with no payout, like the others in the list. Propr's changelog shows no new version and Propr gives no effective date; the rulebook says funded accounts keep the rules in force when they were activated, and that rules are never changed retroactively. Every Propr account we cover is concerned.

"A trader may hold multiple active accounts, up to an aggregate funded balance of $300,000", with "additional evaluation accounts" beside them. Section 15 listed ten prohibited practices, and hedging across accounts meant opposing positions on the same instrument.

Section 17: "Evaluation accounts: up to $200,000 aggregate AUM" and "Funded accounts: up to $300,000 aggregate balance". Section 15 adds 11 "Switching trading approach after passing", 12 "Sharing account access or multi-account usage from same location" and 13 "Non-replicable or high-risk strategies", and opposite hedging now covers "the same instrument or correlated assets".

Read again at 14:56 and 15:08 UTC the same day, with the same text. Propr's evaluation and funded terms extend hedging across accounts to correlated assets too.
