When can I request my first payout after Topstep Trading Combine Standard ($50K futures)?
After passing Topstep's $50,000 Trading Combine Standard, your first payout request depends on the Express Funded Account payout path. Standard requires five winning days with at least $150 net profit each. Consistency requires three trading days with at least one trade each, with the largest winning day no more than 40% of total net profit. You must also meet the request minimum and cap below.

This answer covers the reviewed purchase configuration without the Responsible Trading Advantage add-on. The Trading Combine's Standard purchase route and the funded Standard payout path are separate choices: the funded payout path is chosen at activation.
Which days count?
| Funded payout path | First-request day requirement |
|---|---|
| Standard | Five days of at least $150 net profit each. They do not have to be consecutive. No best-day consistency rule. |
| Consistency | At least three days with one or more trades each. The largest winning day must be at most 40% of total net profit in the payout window. |
These are funded trading days, not a calendar countdown from buying or passing the evaluation. A Standard-path day below $150 does not count toward the five, even if it is profitable. On the Consistency path, reaching day three is not enough when one day's profit is still too large a share of the total.
A three-day example
The amounts below are invented for illustration. Assume each day contains at least one trade and the stated results are net of trading costs.
| Trading day | Net profit |
|---|---|
| Day 1 | $180 |
| Day 2 | $160 |
| Day 3 | $160 |
| Total | $500 |
The largest day is $180 out of $500, or 36%, below the 40% limit. This meets the Consistency path's three-day and percentage conditions. On the Standard path, the same results give three qualifying winning days, so two more are needed.
This example checks the day conditions. The request itself must also fit the account's current balance and request limits.
How much can the first request be?
For the reviewed $50,000 configuration, the minimum request is $125. The maximum is 50% of the funded account balance, capped at $2,000 on the Standard payout path or $3,000 on the Consistency path.
These are request amounts, not the cash ultimately received. The applicable profit share is a separate step. The recorded usual share is 90%; traders who joined the new Topstep dashboard before 12 January 2026 retain 100% of their first $10,000 in lifetime profits.
What changes for later requests?
The qualifying-day count restarts after a payout. The Standard path also requires positive net profit since the previous payout; that condition does not apply before the first. On the Consistency path, the 40% test applies to the new payout window.
Meeting these conditions allows a request; it does not mean payment has arrived. See how request eligibility differs from approval and receipt.
The evidence
| Rule | What the terms say | Checked |
|---|---|---|
| First and later payouts | Standard path: 5 winning days of at least $150 net P&L (not necessarily in a row) before each request, and net profit since the last payout (except before the first). Consistency path: 3 trading days with at least one trade each, with the largest single day at most 40% of the total net profit. The count restarts after each payout. | 13 October 2026 |
| Funded consistency rules | Standard path: no consistency rule. Consistency path: no single day may make up more than 40% of the total net profit in each payout window, which starts again after each payout. | 13 October 2026 |
| Payout minimums and caps | At least $125 per request and at most 50% of the balance, capped at $2,000 per request on the Standard path or $3,000 on the Consistency path; the 90% share then applies. | 13 October 2026 |
| Evaluation route | Trading Combine on the Standard path, without the Responsible Trading Advantage: the Trading Combine, then an Express Funded Account on the Standard or Consistency payout path, chosen at activation. The path cannot be changed after purchase; the Responsible Trading Advantage is an option at checkout, and a Live Funded Account follows only if Topstep's Risk Team calls the trader up. | 13 October 2026 |
| Initial profit share | 90% 90% of each payout (a 90/10 split) on both payout paths. Traders who joined the new Topstep dashboard before 12 January 2026 keep 100% of their first $10,000 of lifetime profits. | 13 October 2026 |
