Would You Still Choose the Accounts on Your October Shortlist?

If you made a prop account shortlist earlier in October, reopen it before you pay. Three PFW change records published from 23 to 31 October 2026 change different buying decisions. One option is no longer available, another has a different reward-cycle choice, and a third needs a check against the accounts and trading setup you already have.

Suppose these were candidates on your shortlist, and you have not made the next purchase. Records published since then, and for other firms, are in the Changes archive. The dates here are the records' publication dates; the sources behind them give no confirmed effective date for these changes.

CFD/FX: E8 Signature is no longer a new purchase

The E8 Signature record published on 31 October removes one choice from a Classic Markets shortlist. E8 was no longer offering that version for new purchases. The futures version remained on sale, so an old note that says only “E8 Signature” is missing a decisive detail.

Cross the Classic Markets version off your new-purchase list. If you still want E8 for CFDs, compare E8 One and E8 Pro, the Classic Markets offerings listed in the record. A familiar firm name does not carry the old program's terms into a different offering.

E8's pages reviewed for the record say nothing about Classic Markets Signature accounts already bought. Crossing it off a shortlist doesn't tell you whether an account you own has changed.

CFD/FX: FundingPips changes the reward-cycle choice

PFW's 31 October FundingPips record shows On Demand replacing Monthly among the choices for the FundingPips 2 Step Standard $100,000 account.

Weekly: 7 days after the first trade on the Master Account; Bi-Weekly: every 14 calendar days after it; On Demand: whenever its consistency score and profitable days are met.

If your shortlist note says “2 Step Standard, Monthly,” that cycle is no longer offered for a new selection. On Demand offers the same top share once its conditions are met, replacing the monthly schedule and adding the Striking System. Reconsider whether that combination suits you. Weekly and Bi-Weekly are unchanged, and 2 Step Pro and 1 Step Flex lose Monthly in the same way.

The choice is fixed once the Master Account is set up. Compare the shares, request conditions and Striking System before deciding which cycle would make the account fit your plans.

Crypto/Perps: Propr needs two separate checks

The Propr record published on 23 October adds an evaluation allocation limit and further prohibited practices. For a new Propr Classic 1-Step 100,000 USDC account, start by looking at the evaluations you already hold. The same checks apply to every Propr evaluation.

Propr's terminal or its API. Not available to people from or located in the restricted jurisdictions (see Who can trade); KYC is needed before the funded account. Up to 300,000 USDC of funded accounts and 200,000 USDC of evaluation accounts per trader.

Propr states the evaluation and funded limits separately. Add the proposed evaluation to your existing evaluation allocation and compare that total with the evaluation limit. Counting accounts alone is not enough when their sizes differ, and looking only at your funded balance misses the limit relevant to this purchase.

If the proposed size would take that total above the evaluation limit, that size does not fit your current purchase plan. Consider a smaller evaluation that fits, or wait before adding another. If the total fits, you have answered the allocation question. Your trading arrangement still needs its own check.

Prohibited conduct (exploiting bugs or latency, sharing accounts or trading several accounts from the same household, device or IP address, identity fraud, hedging across accounts, correlated assets included, or against external exchanges, coordinating with other traders, cycling evaluations, gaming payouts and drawdowns, wash trading, switching approach after passing, and strategies that are difficult to replicate in live markets or carry outsized risk when replicated) can lead to suspension, termination with no payout and a ban. Propr may also cancel or reclassify trades, cut leverage, cap volumes or impose consistency measures. Using a restricted jurisdiction ends the account with no refund or payout.

The restriction on trading several accounts from the same household, device or IP address matters even when the allocation fits. If it describes your proposed setup, do not assume the allocation limit overrides it. If you are unsure how it applies to a shared connection, describe the exact arrangement to Propr before buying. Include who would trade which accounts, and the devices and connection they would use. A reply about the allocation ceiling alone would leave that question unanswered.

E8 Signature for Classic MarketsRemove it as a new-purchase option and compare E8 One and E8 Pro.
FundingPips with Monthly notedReconsider the entry as On Demand, including its conditions and Striking System, or choose another available cycle. The choice is fixed once the Master Account is set up.
Propr evaluationKeep the proposed size only if it fits the evaluation allocation limit and your trading arrangement is permitted. Change the size or settle the setup question before paying.

Keep the relevant change record beside each revised note. When you return to the shortlist, you should be able to see which assumption changed and which question you still need to answer.
