Corrections
We want every figure and statement on Prop Firm Wiz to match what the firm itself publishes, for the exact account it describes. Firms change their terms, and we can make mistakes. If you find an error, please tell us. This page explains what to send, how we check it and what changes when we correct something.
What to report
- A price, fee, target, loss limit, payout rule or other term that does not match the firm's own current pages for that account.
- A statement shown for one account size, program, platform or stage that the firm applies differently to another.
- A missing condition that changes how a rule works.
- A source link that is broken or no longer says what we cite it for.
- A guide, post or answer that says something the firm's pages do not support, or that has gone out of date.
Questions about how we calculate a measure, such as the fee per $1,000 of opening risk or the difficulty ratio, are welcome too. A different view of the method is not by itself an error, but it can show us where an explanation needs to be clearer.
How to report an error
Email hello@propfirmwiz.com with:
- the address of the page and the statement you believe is wrong;
- what you believe is correct, and why;
- a link to the firm's own page that shows it, and the date you saw it. A screenshot helps when the page needs a sign-in or a checkout step;
- for a single account, its program, size and platform.
Please leave out account numbers, login details, payment details and identity documents. We do not need them to check a report.
We read every report, and we reply when we need more detail. We cannot settle a dispute between you and a firm, such as a refused payout or a breached account. We report the terms a firm publishes; the firm and your agreement with it decide individual cases.
How we check a report
- We find the statement, the exact accounts it covers and the sources it cites.
- We read the firm's current official pages for that account: the ones you sent and the ones we cite. The firm's own pages decide. A forum thread, social media post, review site or another comparison site can point us to a problem, but it cannot settle one on its own.
- When sources disagree, we check whether they cover different accounts, dates or stages. If the firm's own pages still conflict, we show the conflict rather than pick a side.
- We correct the statement wherever it appears. Firm, program and account pages, comparisons and answers draw on one set of reviewed data, so a correction to it reaches all of them in the same update. Guides and posts that mention the same rule are checked separately.
What changes after a report
- Our mistake. If we showed something the firm's pages did not support, we correct it. When the mistake could have affected a decision, we also publish a dated correction record saying what we showed, what we should have shown and when we corrected it. Every record is listed in PFW corrections.
- A change by the firm. If the firm has changed its terms, that is not our error. We update the page with its new sources and check dates, and a change that matters to traders gets its own record in Changes.
- Unclear wording. If a statement is supported but easy to misread, we reword it.
- A claim we cannot support. If the firm's own pages do not back a statement, we remove it or show the detail as not established.
- Small fixes. A typo, a formatting problem or a broken link is fixed without a record.
If the evidence supports what we show, we leave it as it is. Each figure on our firm and account pages names the pages behind it and when each was last checked, so a correction is visible there too.
Firms and independence
Firms can report errors in the same way, with their own published terms as evidence. A correction follows the evidence, whether it makes an offer look better or worse. No payment or commercial relationship changes what we publish about a firm's terms, and none can remove a supported statement.
The limits of our checks
We check terms as firms publish them, on the dates each page shows. A firm can change its pages at any time. Before you buy, check the firm's current official terms and the agreement that applies to your country, program, account size, platform and account stage.
