Topstep lists 6 account sizes across one program; we review six of them in detail so far. Each figure applies to the exact account shown, not to the whole firm.

We cover 6 Topstep accounts, all for futures trading: the Trading Combine in two variants, Standard and No Activation Fee, with three sizes each. Both are monthly subscriptions. Standard costs less each month and charges a fee to activate the Express Funded Account after you pass; No Activation Fee costs more each month and charges none.

The Standard $50,000 account costs $49 per month, sets a single profit target of 6%, and has an opening loss allowance of $2,000. Activating its Express Funded Account costs $149.

The No Activation Fee $50,000 account costs $95 per month, with the same target and loss allowance.

Account currencies

Account currencies: US-dollar accounts ($50K, $100K and $150K), priced in US dollars. The checkout shows sizes, prices and limits in $ only and offers no other account currency.

Official sources: Topstep · Checkout: Trading Combine $50K, Standard (checked 13 October 2026); Topstep · Checkout: Trading Combine $50K, No Activation Fee (checked 13 October 2026); Topstep · Help: Topstep Pricing and Payment Questions (checked 13 October 2026).

About this fact. The currencies the firm offers accounts in for this market, and how sizes and prices differ between them. The price you pay may be in another currency.

Resets

Resets: A Trading Combine can be reset while its subscription is active, at most twice per account per calendar day, for its size and path's reset fee; a reset restores the starting balance, Maximum Loss Limit, Consistency Target and trading days, and moves the next charge to 30 days later. Each monthly charge adds a Reset Credit for the same size and type, valid for a year. An Express Funded Account cannot be reset: one lost before its first payout can be reactivated up to twice within 30 days through Back2Funded, for $599, $699 or $829 ($50K, $100K or $150K), or $50 less with a daily loss limit.

Official sources: Topstep · Help: What is a Reset? About this fact. Whether and when the firm lets you restart an evaluation account from its starting balance for a fee, and the terms it states. The fee for each size is in its program's table under Programs and accounts.

Options and add-ons

Options and add-ons: Responsible Trading Advantage, chosen at checkout: a fixed daily loss limit ($1,000, $2,000 or $3,000 for $50K, $100K or $150K) that applies in the Trading Combine and carries into the Express Funded Account; reaching it ends the trading day without breaching the account. On the No Activation Fee path it lowers the monthly price and the reset fee by $10, $20 or $30; on the Standard path the price is unchanged. While Topstep's limited-time offer lasts, it also doubles the Express Funded Account's payout caps. Level 2 market data is a separate add-on at $38 a month.

Payment methods

Payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover cards, Google Wallet and Apple Pay; PayPal is not accepted. The card must be in the trader's own name, and sales tax may be added at checkout.

None: once funding is earned, Topstep counts the subscription and all fees as used in full.

Cancellation refund

All 6 Futures accounts
The subscription can be cancelled at any time from the Billing page, and fees are generally not refunded. Exceptions: up to one monthly renewal payment back within the first 14 days of a trader's first-ever Trading Combine if it has not been passed, and a forgotten rebill refunded if asked within 28 days of the charge and the account has not traded since.

Payout methods

Payout methods: Prop-to-Brokerage (US only, no fee), Aeropay (US banks, no Topstep fee), Wise (China, Canada and the UK, no Topstep fee), ACH (US banks, $30) or wire/SWIFT (international, $30). The minimum payout is $125, paid only to a bank account in the trader's own name.

Official source: Topstep · Help: Topstep Payout Policy (checked 13 October 2026).

About this fact. How the firm says it sends payouts in this market, with the limits and fees it states. When a payout can be requested is a rule of each account.

Initial profit share

All 6 Futures accounts
90%

First and later payouts

All 6 Futures accounts
Standard path: 5 winning days of at least $150 net P&L (not necessarily in a row) before each request, and net profit since the last payout (except before the first). Consistency path: 3 trading days with at least one trade each, with the largest single day at most 40% of the total net profit. The count restarts after each payout.

Payout minimums and caps

Trading Combine · No Activation Fee · $50,000 / $100,000 / $150,000
At least $125 per request and at most 50% of the balance, capped at $2,000 / $3,000 / $5,000 per request on the Standard path or $3,000 / $4,000 / $6,000 on the Consistency path; the 90% share then applies.
Trading Combine · Standard · $50,000 / $100,000 / $150,000
At least $125 per request and at most 50% of the balance, capped at $2,000 / $3,000 / $5,000 per request on the Standard path or $3,000 / $4,000 / $6,000 on the Consistency path; the 90% share then applies.

Funded consistency rules

All 6 Futures accounts
Standard path: no consistency rule. Consistency path: no single day may make up more than 40% of the total net profit in each payout window, which starts again after each payout.

After a payout

All 6 Futures accounts
The payout comes out of the balance and the Maximum Loss Limit is set to $0 for good, so the remaining balance is the room left to lose; the winning-day count or consistency window restarts, and a lower balance can lower the Scaling Plan's contract limit. After a payout the account can no longer be reactivated through Back2Funded.

Payout processing fees

All 6 Futures accounts
No Topstep fee for Prop-to-Brokerage (US), Aeropay (US banks) or Wise (China, Canada and the UK), though banks or those services may charge their own; $30 for ACH (US banks) and for wire/SWIFT (international).

Published processing time

All 6 Futures accounts
Internal approval can take 1 to 3 business days. Aeropay then pays instantly after approval (US banks that support real-time payments), Prop-to-Brokerage the same day if requested by 12 PM CT, Wise and ACH in 1 to 3 business days, and wire/SWIFT in 5 to 10 business days.

About this fact. Trustpilot's own TrustScore for the firm, out of 5, with its review count and the date we read it. It is Trustpilot's figure, not ours, and we never use it to rank or rate firms. Reviews come from people who choose to post them, firms can invite customers to review, and Trustpilot says it does not fact-check reviews. When Trustpilot shows an alert on the firm's profile, we show it with the score, word for word, with Trustpilot's name for its type. When Trustpilot shows no score for the firm, we say so and quote what it shows instead, with any alert, and show none of the review figures. A score says nothing about any one account's rules or payouts.
