Allowed does not mean every news strategy is permitted
An Allowed row can still limit particular trading behavior. Read its wording alongside the label, including any condition on the strategy or position you intend to use.
Restricted means the permission has a limitation recorded for this stage. It does not always mean you must stop trading around every release. The condition explains which action or result is restricted. Accounts recorded as Prohibited are counted under their market rather than listed as qualifying options.
Read the restriction as an instruction
Check the following points in the row and its linked rule:
- Event, instruments and window. Establish which release is covered, which instruments it affects, and when the restriction starts and ends. A rule tied to affected instruments should not be extended to unrelated instruments without supporting wording.
- Opening or closing versus holding. A rule may allow a position opened earlier to remain open while prohibiting entries or exits during the window. If it requires you to be flat, you must have no open positions during that period.
- Automatic orders. Check pending entries, stop losses and take profits. An order placed before the window can still execute inside it; permission to hold does not itself permit that execution.
- Profit and loss treatment. Some or all profit from an affected trade may be excluded. Read how losses are treated and the stated consequence of a deduction as well. A permitted trade and profit that counts in full are separate questions.
- Strategy, size and duration. Check any limitation on news-focused strategies, position size or the time a trade must remain open. A restriction can apply even without a blackout window.

Check the funded stage and the market
This list reads the funded-stage news rule. Evaluation permission can differ; each account page shows the stages. For futures, the supporting row is called News and overnight holding. This list selects its news permission, so an Allowed result does not establish permission to hold past the session close.
What is not established
Our reading of the firm's wording separates an interpretation from the confirmed Allowed group. Could not verify, when present, means the permission was not stated, could not be verified, or had conflicting sources. Neither group is a confirmed match.
If the condition leaves your event, instrument or intended order action unresolved, ask the firm's support to clarify that exact situation before relying on it.
