List price

List price: $35 one-time

Conditions and limits. $35, a one-time payment; no subscription and no recurring charge.

Official sources: Vest Markets · Vest Capital accounts and purchase selector (checked 30 October 2026); Vest Markets · Frequently asked questions (checked 30 October 2026).

About this rule. The advertised base price of the selected account and how it is billed. A temporary public offer, available without a code, is shown beside it with any conditions the firm states, while a recent check confirms it; codes, optional purchases and unverified buyer charges are excluded.

Fee per $1,000 of opening risk

Fee per $1,000 of opening risk: $58.33

Conditions and limits. One payment: the one-time fee. Vest names no activation, platform or data fee. Each trade pays the market's trading fee, simulated in the Evaluation Phase but counted toward the loss limits, and open positions pay or receive funding.

How this is calculated. (List price × charges in a 30-day attempt + activation fee + platform and data fees), in US dollars, divided by the opening loss allowance and multiplied by 1,000.

Trading fees

Trading fees: Vest's market fees, charged per fill: maker 0%; taker 0.0025% on index and commodity markets, 0.0015% on FX and 0.01% on all other markets. In the Evaluation Phase they are simulated but count toward the loss limits like a realized loss.

Official sources: Vest Markets · Markets (checked 30 October 2026); Vest Markets · Order types (checked 30 October 2026); Vest Markets · Frequently asked questions (checked 30 October 2026).

About this rule. The fees charged on each trade, such as maker and taker rates, and what they are a percentage of. They are not part of the account's price.

Funding and financing

Funding and financing: Funding is paid between longs and shorts and settled hourly, on position notional at the index price, from each market's base interest rate and the perpetual's premium over its index: crypto 10.95% a year over a 24-hour interval, CME index futures 0% over 48 hours, other CME futures 0% over 120 hours, all other markets 5% over 120 hours. Vest's terms list funding charges among the account's modelled trading costs.

Official sources: Vest Markets · Funding (checked 31 October 2026); Vest Markets · Prop Trading Terms of Service (checked 31 October 2026).

About this rule. Periodic payments for holding a position: a perpetual contract's funding payments between long and short positions, or a financing fee the firm charges instead; how they are applied to the account, and whether they count towards the profit target and the loss limits.

Evaluation & risk

Opening loss allowance

Opening loss allowance: $600

How this is calculated. Opening balance minus the opening total-loss floor, for each required evaluation phase. The smallest result is used.

Phase 1 opening balance
$10,000
Phase 1 opening total-loss floor
$9,400
Phase 2 opening balance
$10,000
Phase 2 opening total-loss floor
$9,400
Result
$600

Daily loss limits and any trailing of the floor after the opening are separate rules.

Official sources: Vest Markets · Vest Capital accounts and purchase selector (checked 30 October 2026); Vest Markets · Vest Capital loss limits (checked 30 October 2026).

About this rule. How much the account can lose from its opening balance before the total-loss rule is broken, using the smallest allowance across the required evaluation phases. An account bought without an evaluation uses its funded account's allowance. It is not daily headroom, live capital or a pass probability.

Compare this rule across accounts

Read the guide: How do you calculate the opening loss allowance?

Difficulty ratio

Difficulty ratio: 2.50

How this is calculated. For each required evaluation phase, the profit target divided by that phase's opening loss allowance. The results are added.

Phase 1 profit target
10% of $10,000 = $1,000
Phase 1 opening loss allowance
$600
Phase 2 profit target
5% of $10,000 = $500
Phase 2 opening loss allowance
$600
Result
2.50

This describes the shape of the evaluation; it is not a pass probability.

Official sources: Vest Markets · Vest Capital accounts and purchase selector (checked 30 October 2026); Vest Markets · Vest Capital loss limits (checked 30 October 2026).

About this rule. Each required phase's profit target divided by that phase's opening loss allowance, added together. More target per dollar of allowed loss gives a higher number; an account bought without an evaluation has no target, so its ratio is 0. It describes the shape of the evaluation, not the chance of passing.

Evaluation route

Evaluation route: 2-Step $10,000, Vest Capital (Vest Markets' perpetual futures): a fixed build with two Evaluation Phase steps (10%, then 5%), a 6% maximum drawdown, a 3% daily loss limit and an 80% profit split, then a Live Funded Account.

Official sources: Vest Markets · Vest Capital accounts and purchase selector (checked 30 October 2026); Vest Markets · Frequently asked questions (checked 30 October 2026).

Profit targets

Profit targets: 10% then 5%

Conditions and limits. Step 1: 10% of starting capital, $1,000; step 2: 5% of starting capital, $500.

Official sources: Vest Markets · Vest Capital accounts and purchase selector (checked 30 October 2026); Vest Markets · Vest Capital loss limits (checked 30 October 2026).

About this rule. The profit each required evaluation phase must reach, as a share of the opening balance. An account bought without an evaluation has none.

Total and daily loss

Total and daily loss: Maximum drawdown $600 (6% of starting capital): a fixed floor at $9,400, set when the account is created, the same in the evaluation and once Live. Profits do not raise it. Account equity, including unrealized P&L, is checked against it at all times, intraday or otherwise, and the account closes immediately and permanently below it. Sources differ on a touch: Vest's Loss Limits page says equality alone does not breach a limit; its FAQ says touching the floor closes the account. Daily loss limit 3% ($300 on $10,000), at both stages: each day's floor is the reset balance at 20:00 ET (balance plus reserved collateral, without unrealized P&L) less 3%, moved dollar for dollar by transfers in or out, and equity is checked against it. Vest's FAQ instead takes the account's equity at 20:00 ET.

Official sources: Vest Markets · Vest Capital loss limits (checked 31 October 2026); Vest Markets · Frequently asked questions (checked 31 October 2026); Vest Markets · Vest Capital accounts and purchase selector (checked 31 October 2026).

Minimum days and time limits

Minimum days and time limits: None: no minimum number of trading days and no time limit, in the Evaluation Phase or once Live.

Official source: Vest Markets · Frequently asked questions (checked 30 October 2026).

About this rule. The minimum number of trading or profitable days each evaluation phase requires, including any minimum the firm states a consistency rule sets, any time limit for passing, and any inactivity period after which the account is closed.

Leverage and position limits

Leverage and position limits: Sources differ on funded leverage: Vest's documentation gives up to 75x by market, with a table (for example BTC 25x, ETH 15x) and text below it saying BTC and ETH are capped at 15x; its FAQ says up to 50x. No position or order size limits; cross margin across all markets. The order form shows a Fail Price for the loss limits. From Friday 4:00 PM ET leverage on index, FX, gold and silver is cut (see Overnight / weekend).

Official sources: Vest Markets · Cross margin and leverage (checked 31 October 2026); Vest Markets · Frequently asked questions (checked 31 October 2026); Vest Markets · Perpetual contract specifications (checked 31 October 2026); Vest Markets · Order types (checked 31 October 2026); Vest Markets · Temporary leverage limits (checked 31 October 2026).

About this rule. The most leverage and the largest positions the account allows, by instrument group, and what happens to a position that reaches its liquidation price. A liquidated position is not by itself a breach of the account's loss limits.

Payouts

Initial profit share

Initial profit share: 80%

Conditions and limits. 80% of profit claimed, set at purchase; it does not change when the account goes Live.

First and later payouts

First and later payouts: On demand: a profit claim can be submitted at any time, as often as you like, with no threshold before the first; open positions or orders may need closing first.
