Costs

List price

List price: $519 one-time

Conditions and limits. $519 for the $50,000 Direct account, paid once: no subscription and no activation fee. The lower price on the plan card needs the ALPHA50 code.

About this rule. The advertised base price of the selected account and how it is billed. Evaluation & risk

Opening loss allowance

Opening loss allowance: $2,000On the funded account, as there is no evaluation

How this is calculated. The funded account's opening balance minus its opening total-loss floor. The account is bought without an evaluation, so its own allowance is used.

Funded account opening balance
$50,000
Funded account opening total-loss floor
$48,000
Result
$2,000

Daily loss limits and any trailing of the floor after the opening are separate rules.

Official sources: Alpha Futures · Direct (checked 6 November 2026); Alpha Futures · Help centre: Direct Account Overview (checked 6 November 2026).

About this rule. How much the account can lose from its opening balance before the total-loss rule is broken, using the smallest allowance across the required evaluation phases. An account bought without an evaluation uses its funded account's allowance. It is not daily headroom, live capital or a pass probability.

Read the guide: How do you calculate the opening loss allowance?

Difficulty ratio

Difficulty ratio: 0.00No evaluation or profit target

How this is calculated. For each required evaluation phase, the profit target divided by that phase's opening loss allowance. The results are added. The account is bought without an evaluation and has no profit target, so the ratio is 0.

Required evaluation phases
None
Funded account opening loss allowance
$2,000
Result
0.00

This describes the shape of the evaluation; it is not a pass probability.

Official sources: Alpha Futures · Direct (checked 6 November 2026); Alpha Futures · Help centre: Direct Account Overview (checked 6 November 2026).

About this rule. Each required phase's profit target divided by that phase's opening loss allowance, added together. More target per dollar of allowed loss gives a higher number; an account bought without an evaluation has no target, so its ratio is 0. It describes the shape of the evaluation, not the chance of passing.

Evaluation route

Evaluation route: Direct $50,000, Alpha Futures: a simulated Qualified Account from purchase, without an evaluation; Alpha Futures may later call a Qualified trader to a live account. Read on the plan card, for AlphaTrader, Alpha Futures' own platform; the platform is chosen at purchase and cannot be changed after.

Conditions and limits. None: Direct has no evaluation.

Official sources: Alpha Futures · Direct (checked 6 November 2026); Alpha Futures · Help centre: Direct Account Overview (checked 6 November 2026).

Loss mechanics

Loss mechanics: A $2,000 Maximum Loss Limit that trails the end-of-day balance: it starts at $48,000, follows the highest end-of-day balance and stops at $50,000. Reaching it at any time, on open or closed balance, liquidates the account, and the Qualified Account is closed.

Minimum days and time limits

Minimum days and time limits: None: Direct has no evaluation. A trade at least once every 10 trading days keeps an account active.

Official sources: Alpha Futures · Help centre: Direct Account Overview (checked 6 November 2026); Alpha Futures · Help centre: Inactivity Rule (checked 6 November 2026).

About this rule. The minimum number of trading or profitable days each evaluation phase requires, including any minimum the firm states a consistency rule sets, any time limit for passing, and any inactivity period after which the account is closed.

Daily loss and contract limits

Daily loss and contract limits: A Daily Loss Limit of $1,000 (2% of the starting balance), a soft breach: when the day's P&L, open or closed, reaches the limit, positions are flattened and the account is locked until the next trading day (6 PM ET), without losing it. Up to 4 minis / 40 micros, with no scaling plan. MBT and MET count as full minis.

Payouts

Initial profit share

Initial profit share: 90%

Conditions and limits. 90% of each withdrawal request, from the first one and with no tiered system, as the help centre and the plan pages say. Sources differ: the General Service Agreement still defines the fee as 70% for the first two payouts, 80% for the third and fourth and 90% from the fifth. A trader called to a live account gets 80% in the Alpha Futures Live Program or 60% in the Alpha Prime Program.

The target is $3,000 of profit for the first withdrawal and $2,000 of fresh profit for each later one; leftover profit does not carry over. Up to 4 requests a month.
